I hope your Thanksgiving was full of food, family, and fun! Ours sure was!!!
It was so much fun to see Noah and his Cuz Hunter chasing each other with Tonka trucks all around the kitchen! Don't you just love both their tongues sticking out as they concentrate on driving. Adam's deep fried turkey was awesome...enhanced by Nana's twenty-four hour brine. Yumm-O! Now...let the countdown to Christmas begin!
I just have to say that Noah looks like the most resilient kid EVER! If you didn't know, one would not have a clue about his adventurous week. What a testament to wonderful docs and nurses, very loving parents/grandparents/family, and an awesome God!
What fun watching the "red-racers" working so hard with their red tongues! How precious! What recovery the little ones have; GO NOAH! Praise God for his successful surgery. How AWESOME that fall picture is of Mother and Son! What a wonderful Thanksgiving statement it makes! So glad you were ALL (almost)together. Will anxiously await the pixs of the 3 little cuzs and their playing together at Christmas time! God bless all of you! Hugs, Cuz Sue--AZ
Our son, Noah Stone Jackson, was born with a very rare genetic disorder called Fraser syndrome. Among his many challenges are one “hidden eye”, a narrow trachea (which required him to have a tracheotomy), an imperforate anus (which required a colostomy), difficulty swallowing (which required a G-Tube for feedings), the fusing of his vocal chords (which means he may never speak), and club feet (which are being corrected with braces). Our family is on an amazing journey together. We are learning to walk along this path that God has planned for us, trusting in His infinite love and wisdom. We are taking each day (or each moment) as it comes and relying on each other, our friends and family, and our God for strength. We have a long road ahead of us filled with several more surgeries, lots of recovery, countless hours of therapy, and many trips to specialists around the state. Every day brings us challenges but they pale in comparison to the smiles and cuddles from our little man. Noah is our son, a true gift from God, and we cannot wait to see where this adventure leads.
Sounds like you all had a great Thanksgiving. Wish we could have been there. We'll see you all in December!
