...and exhale

Thank you for all your prayers. Kc and I got the results of Noah's amnio yesterday and everything is normal. We're breathing a big sigh of relief. We feel so blessed that his only challenge will be club feet. We have been so loved and supported.

It's A Boy!

Thank you all so much for your kind words, love, support and fervent prayers. As you already know, last Thursday, Kc and I went in for a detailed ultrasound to determine if our second child had Potter’s Syndrome like Ryan. The good news is that our son, Noah Stone Jackson, does not. The sad news is that the doctor detected bilateral club feet. Because Club feet can be a marker for several other birth defects such as spina bifida, cerebal palsy, myelomeningocoele and arthrogryposis we had an amniocentesis performed and should have the results back in two weeks. If two club feet are the only challenges Noah has to endure we will praise God. If he is born with additional challenges, however, we will continue to praise God for our son is a gift from Him. We feel that Noah is wonderfully and fearfully made by God and entrusted to us. Kc and I continue to remain full of hope as we prepare for Noah’s birth in January. Thank you again for your love and compassion during this challenging time.
