This month in pictures
Life has been crazy busy these past few weeks. I have a list of blog posts that I want to tackle, but alas, they are not writing themselves. You are going to have to settle for a quick series of photos.
We had a great BBQ and Pool Party with some dear friends. Grams is in the background.
Ella, Ellie {holding Ava}, Noah, Ethan, and Brody.

Noah absolutely LOVES swimming!!!! He is a true fish!

Miss Ava absolutely hates Tummy Time. Noah was trying to show her how to do it. Ava just screamed the entire time.

My Little Beauty!

The many faces of my Sweet Baby Girl.

Ava rolled over on her play mat for the first time the other day. She was so proud of herself.

Noah loves to hold his baby sister.
He is the best Big Brother ever!

Champion Swimmer
Noah finished his swimming lessons by the end of May and had an absolute BLAST!!! He truly LOVED his teacher, Mr. Nick, and learned so much. We have spent so many afternoons in Nana & Papa's pool and Mr. Man is a confident little fish. He has no fear in the pool and swims all over it.
During his last lesson, Mr. Nick had fun with Noah and they played with gigantic ducks.

He was so proud of his medal and ribbon.

Surfing, Diving, and Swimming
Noah's awesome swim teacher had Noah do some "Duck Surfing" during his last lesson. Bubs had such a blast standing on the yellow duck and trying to keep his balance.

Mr. Nick created waves so Noah would have a true surfing experience.
I love the surfing arms...keeping balance.
We are so thankful for a fun and creative teacher. Noah just LOVES Mr. Nick!!!

Swimming Lessons 2013
Noah has started swimming lessons this year and has taken to it like a fish to water {pun intended}. His very first lesson did not have any crying or screaming or kicking or fighting. He ran into the pool and met his new teacher, Nick. Bubs seemed to remember most of what he learned last year and Nick has taken him so much farther than I could have imagined.
Yesterday, Noah swam across the pool all by himself, rolling over to get a breath when he needed to. We are so proud of him!

Champion Swimmer
A few weeks ago, Noah had his final swimming lesson. He's grown so much since his very first day. He is truly a little fish right now.
He can swim the length of the pool, rolling over to catch a breath,
Noah loves his "gold metal" and frequently asks to wear it.

Swimming Lessons
Hello!
Boy has it been a while since I've posted anything. I'm so sorry, but life has just been SO hectic lately. It seems as though I have not even had enough time to breathe, let alone blog.
Last week, Mr. Man started swimming lessons. Let me tell you that he was less than enthusiastic on day 1. In fact, he yelled, screamed, and cried quite a bit. His teacher, Bret, spent most of the time holding Bubs, rubbing his back, and telling him that it was OK. Bubs spent most of the time pointing to the steps and trying to convince Bret that they should leave the pool. By day 3, however, all Noah could talk about was when he was going to get in the pool and go swimming. My little fish has learned how to kick slowly, jump off the steps as well as the side of the pool, and swim to the side and pull himself up.
This is him swimming on day 2.
And here he is on day 4.
We look forward to a summer spent in the pool!

Swim Therapy
I hope this Thanksgiving Week was as much fun for you as it has been for me. I had the entire week off and was able to go to several of Noah's therapy appointments, spend time with friends and family, catch up on my sleep {I just LOVE nap time}, cook as much as I wanted, eat more than I should, finish almost all of my Christmas shopping and start to decorate the house. Tomorrow is going to be quite a shock to my system as I head back to work.
Bubs has recently started aquatic therapy as part of his physical therapy program. Mr. Man just loves going to the "swimming pool" and asks about it frequently throughout the week.
Bubs is ready to play in the pool.
Noah had to walk the length of the pool {he is neck deep in the water} with weights on his ankles in order to reach the whale. He then gets to throw toys in the whale's mouth.
Sorry the shots are so blurry...I took them with my iPhone behind glass walls.
Then Bubs practiced floating on his back which he DID NOT like. Next came the kicking with flippers. Mr. Man enjoyed kicking all around the pool with the noodle. He finished the session with a slide down the whale's mouth.
He was so excited when he got to the bottom but did not want to go again. Too funny!
