Fourty-Eight Months

My Little Man turns 4 today. It is truly shocking how fast these past four years have flown by.

Noah's current stats are:

Weight: 43 pounds

Height: 40 inches

Once again, our wonderful friend Lisa, from Bug O' Boo, created Noah's Shark birthday shirts. I think she truly outdid herself this time. I loved the pirate shirt as well as the Noah's Ark shirt and the under the sea shirt, but these truly take the cake!

Our silly little Bubs just loves to stand on his head and chose to start the "monthly photo shoot" by showing off his fantastic talent.

Aww...such love for Ryan Bear. It reminds me of this picture.

Bubs looks so big and grown-up in this picture. He is slowly transitioning out of the "toddler" stage and into a "little boy". Not sure if I am ready for this!

Ahhhh happy birthday little man!!! Way to keep your mama on her toes :) I love love his spirit!! I swear year 4 is the BEST!

So fast he is growing, learning, and changing.
I am amazed by his spirit and thankful to see him growing and be a tiny piece of his journey. Momma ans Dadda you two are amazing parents Happy Birthday little man... you are so loved.

The Story

Our son, Noah Stone Jackson, was born with a very rare genetic disorder called Fraser syndrome. Among his many challenges are one “hidden eye”, a narrow trachea (which required him to have a tracheotomy), an imperforate anus (which required a colostomy), difficulty swallowing (which required a G-Tube for feedings), the fusing of his vocal chords (which means he may never speak), and club feet (which are being corrected with braces). Our family is on an amazing journey together. We are learning to walk along this path that God has planned for us, trusting in His infinite love and wisdom. We are taking each day (or each moment) as it comes and relying on each other, our friends and family, and our God for strength. We have a long road ahead of us filled with several more surgeries, lots of recovery, countless hours of therapy, and many trips to specialists around the state. Every day brings us challenges but they pale in comparison to the smiles and cuddles from our little man. Noah is our son, a true gift from God, and we cannot wait to see where this adventure leads.
