I have officially started back at work. After sixty-eight days of being a SAHM the fairytale has ended and I am struggling to get back into a routine.
As I left for work on Monday morning, I turned around and saw Kc and Noah {along with Charlie, of course} wishing me good luck.
Hopefully the next few weeks will bring about a sense of normalcy and routine and that my heart won't ache quite as much as it does right now.
My heart and prayers are with you. It's tough being a working momma. Don't I know it.
ReplyDeleteIt's great to know that your Little Man is in such wonderful, loving care - who could ask for more than an amazing Daddy-O and awesome grandparents - when you can't be with him, but my heart aches with you too.
ReplyDeleteYes Bec, my heart, too, aches for you...just take one day at a time and make sure that awesome Daddy-O gives you a hug each and everyday :) I'm sure knowing that your two boys are home together warms your heart...and really grandparents watching their grandchildren...what a Gift for ALL!! Good luck getting it all together in these few crazy first weeks of school...before you know it it'll be vacation time :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck adjusting to your new routines!!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful for you Becky that KC can be with Noah the 2 days and your folks the other 3. He should not get as sick as he might have in daycare. Kids transfer all kinds of goodies from one to another. :-)
ReplyDeleteI am sure your heart aches for all of the kisses and hugs from your little (and big) man all during the day! You will adjust as you did last year once you get settled with your school kiddies.
God bless the 3 of you. Hugs, Cuz Sue in AZ
