Ever since Noah has moved into his crib (which he just LOVES), he has developed the most unusual bedtime routine. Once I lay him down to sleep, attach his apnea monitor and plug in his feeding tube, Noah raises himself up on one arm to peek over the bumper and see if I'm still there. Then he rolls from side to side a few times and eventually wiggles himself towards the back of the crib and onto his right side. Once there, he wraps his arms around his bumper (AKA Bump), gives it a good squeeze, and proceeds to fall asleep. Some children sleep with blankets and others stuffed animals, but not Noah. No, he cuddles with his Bump.

Unusual bed habits must be a Smith trait...H now goes to bed with his Lighting McQueen toy car, 2 Thomas trains, and of course, his Lovey :)
ReplyDeleteNoah is too cute all snuggled up with his Bump. He's so big now...Oh my!!
He needs Bendy Bumpers. Austin has them. They ROCK! I have pictures somewhere on my blog...I'll have to find them.
ReplyDeleteHow do you get footie pjs to work with the pulse ox?? That was too much work for me. LoL.
That is too funny. We took Jonah's bumper off. Maybe we need to revisit that decision!
