New School

Last week, we had Noah's initial IEP {Individualized Education Program} meeting.  It was a huge meeting with his toddler group/special education teacher, speech teacher, vision teacher, program specialist, CVRC case manager, school psychologist, school nurse, and regular education preschool teacher present.  It was determined that Mr. Man would enter the SDC {Special Day Class} half-day preschool at age three.  We are so fortunate that there is an SDC preschool at my school site...so...Bubs will be attending my school.  WOW!!!!

We have been slowly introducing Noah to this new routine.  We have changed his feeding schedule to coordinate with the preschool snack time.  We have put together his backpack and Bubs is practicing wearing it.  We are talking about going to the new school and the new classroom and the new teacher.

Last weekend we headed over to Copper Hills so Bubs {and Daddy-O} could see where his new room was.  Noah was very excited as we got out of the car.
Walking down the very long hallway, however, he became a bit more unsure of himself.  We showed Bubs where his new room was and he was less than impressed.

The sign at the front of the school was even less impressive.
We decided that a trip to the playground was in order.  Oh my goodness, Mr. Man could not take his backpack off fast enough when he saw the play structure.

There is a fish!!!  Do you hear me people?!?  A fish!!!!!!  And it's SOOOO big!!!!
He immediately climbed up the steps,

went across the fish,
and slid down the twisty slide.  What a brave boy!

He loved walking across the bouncy bridge

and even tried to figure out why it was so bouncy.
He thought the General Store should be open for business.
There were so many places to explore,
hang on,

and climb.

Can you believe that this little guy will be starting preschool soon?!?
I know he is ready...hopefully I will be too!

The Great Food Experiment - Day Five

I am happy to report that Noah seems to be doing quite well on his new diet. In the past five days he has only vomited three times. That's UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! We've had single days where he has vomited more than that.

We continue to blend chicken and vegetables and are getting better at straining it so it is thin enough to flow through Noah's feeding pump.

We traveled out of town this past weekend and had a much harder time feeding Noah. In the past we would just bring a can of formula and scoop, add water, shake and feed. This weekend, we traveled with several large containers of blended food and ice packs in an adorable Picnic Thermal Tote {available through Thirty-One Gifts}.
We had to keep his food refrigerated and only pour what we needed at each feed.

We have been introducing Noah to different vegetables each time we make a "batch" of food and so far have not seen any allergic reactions.

I look forward to seeing how Noah does over the next week!

Backpack

I have recently started selling adorable bags and gifts from a company called Thirty-One. When I saw this Toddler Backpack, I couldn't resist getting one for Noah {of course I can also use it as a demo during parties}. The first time I put it on Noah, he didn't quite know what to think. He kind of reminded me of a cat chasing their tail...he kept going around in circles trying to see what was on his back. Once I stopped laughing, took the backpack off to show him, and put it back on, Noah thought he was pretty cool. Here he is all packed and ready to go to Nana and Papa's house so Kc and I could go on a double date with my brother and sister-in-law {our third annual double date}.Noah is getting to be such a big boy. Where has the time gone?!?
